There is an old children song in my language talking about a little girl that his grandpa have a stars tree.. I heard yesterday and just had to draw it!
I've always loved drawing on various objects! This coffee-lid is from several years ago but I still love it and have it hanging on the bulletin board near my art desk.
Where will my curiosity take me, you say? Down the road of some Curious George fan art this time around!

About a year and a bit ago, I bought myself a copy of the very first Miffy book by Dick Bruna from Paper Tiger because as I often say, why not? And as many of you know I’m still a big kid at heart, hahaha.
More to the point, the style’s similar to my own and naturally… inspiration intensified today!
I am illustrating a children's book for an author who is self-publishing. The story is about her granddaughter who wants a guinea pig and has to learn how to care for it.
